Mobile phone penalties set to rocket

From the 1st March 2017, drivers caught using hand held mobile phones will be slapped with 6 penalty points and a £200 fine.  If you have been driving for less than 2 years an offence will result in a revokation of the licence resulting in a £100 application fee for another provisional licence, new theory and practical tests plus the £200 fine.
