Jaama Driving Licence Checks

Jaama is putting the spotlight on its Driver Licence Checking solution at Road Transport Expo 2025, offering free DVLA licence checks to show how the technology helps fleets stay compliant, reduce risk, and avoid costly penalties.

This solution offers real-time licence verification, automated re-checks based on risk profiles, and instant alerts for offences, disqualifications or points. All checks are logged in a full audit trail, supporting internal policies and external regulatory requirements.

The cloud-based Licence Portal ensures nothing falls through the cracks, with centralised driver records, automated reminders, real-time dashboards and allows for more frequent checks for high-risk drivers.

The focus on licence checking comes as newly released DVLA data obtained by Co-op Insurance reveals that more than 350,000 UK driver licences due for renewal in 2024 remain expired and unrenewed. This creates major risks for businesses, from fines of up to £1,000 per driver to invalid insurance cover and legal exposure under Duty of Care regulations.

Mark Francis, Chief Product Officer at Jaama, said:
“Licence compliance is a fundamental part of fleet safety and risk management. Too many businesses still rely on manual checks and spreadsheets, which leave huge gaps. Our software closes those gaps — and by offering free licence checks at RTX, we’re inviting operators to see the benefits first-hand.”

Fleet professionals attending RTX 2025 can visit Stand N43 to receive a free DVLA licence check using Jaama’s system and experience how it fits within the company’s broader compliance and asset management ecosystem. Live demonstrations of the MyTechnician app will also be available.
