Business Booms as Jaama Create More Positions

Business is booming for leading fleet and asset management software company Jaama, which has recruited a further six customer-facing employees.

The recruits include a technical client manager and four technical support advisors who all sit within Jaama’s customer service department and a project consultant who has joined the company’s implementation team.

Jaama managing director Martin Evans said: “Year-on-year the business continues to expand as an ever-increasing number of organisations decide to use our multi award-winning Key2 web-based technology.

“The expansion in Jaama’s customer base across all business sectors in which we operate - public and private fleets including those with their own workshops, vehicle leasing and rental companies, and plant, equipment and tool hire - is driving the need to recruit additional staff.”

Organisations collectively managing more than 900,000 vehicles, company car and commercial vehicle drivers and own-vehicle drivers and running their own workshops currently use Key2 and that number is expected to grow significantly further in the second half of 2017.

Earlier this year, Jaama restructured and expanded its customer service department to provide clients with a greater level of support. Joining the newly established fleet customer support team as a technical client manager is Collette Dooley.

Collette has worked in the fleet management industry for eight years including in the software sector and for a specialist supplier of salary sacrifice car schemes thus gaining a significant insight into the system demands of fleet decision-makers.

Joining Jaama as technical support advisors with responsibility for maintaining strong communications with clients and helping fleets, vehicle leasing and rental organisations and plant and tool hire firms maximise their use of the company’s multi award-winning Key2 management system are:
•Abbi Storer, who has joined the fleet team. She has a lengthy career behind her working in front line customer service including in the retail and tourism industries and the public sector.
•Gerald Hyde, who has joined the leasing team following a varied career that most recently saw him working in Unipart’s fleet department and previously he was in the Army.
•Sam Worton, who also joins the leasing team, previously worked in the IT department of a contract hire and leasing company for almost four years.
•Aimee Lund, who has joined the workshop, plant and rental team. She has worked in customer service for 15 years most recently in the exhibition and events sector following four years administration experience.

Finally, Lauren Haggerty has joined Jaama as a project consultant working with customers on implementation of Key2 software and providing training to new and existing customers so as they gain maximum benefit from the sophisticated web-based asset and driver management solution. Having gained a degree in English from Birmingham City University, she spent five years at Pinewood, the dealer software solutions subsidiary of Pendragon Plc, the UK’s largest vehicle dealership group, working in the support team and the training and implementation department.
