Jaama will launch its MyTechnician App at this year’s Road Transport Expo (RTX) ahead of its full reveal later in 2025.
Visitors to Stand N43 will be able to see and experience the capabilities of the MyTechnician App which has been designed to help technicians and supervisors complete workshop compliance and maintenance activity more efficiently.
Jaama have invested significant resource to collate in-depth customer feedback and research to enhance the user journey, reduce administration burden, whilst sustaining data integrity and workshop visibility.
MyTechnician is a fully digital system that manages the entire workload of the customer’s workshops – from creating and confirming bookings to logging defects, adding labour or parts, and completing checklists for events such as MOTs and repairs.
Key features include KPI dashboard, functionality improvements such as tailored user permissions, and the ability to apply actions across multiple job items to improve efficiency. The app is compatible across Windows, Android and Apple iOS tablets, laptops and PCs.
The team is excited to share the progress made through live demonstrations and Q&A sessions at RTX.
Mark Francis, Jaama Chief Product Officer, said: “The new MyTechnician App is the result of close collaboration with our customers and a clear understanding of the day-to-day challenges faced in modern workshops. We’ve developed the app using agile principles to ensure it delivers real-world value and enhanced user experience from day one. RTX is the perfect platform to showcase the progress we’ve made and engage directly with users as we move towards official launch later this year.”
