Leading fleet and asset management software company Jaama has donated a total of £260 to two charities following recent events.

Macmillan Cancer Support is to receive £200 and Help for Heroes will receive £60. The money was raised at Jaama’s recent 10th anniversary celebrations and its attendance at an industry seminar at which delegates were invited to place their business cards in the charity box of their choice with the company donating £5 for each one.

This year Jaama has continued to be the most recommended fleet management software supplier in the UK illustrated by a 16% increase in its customer portfolio following an 18% rise last year.

That means more than 550,000 vehicles are now managed by fleets, contract hire and leasing companies and rental operators through Jaama’s core Key2 Vehicle Management system.

Managing director Martin Evans said: “The growth of Jaama has been on a completely different scale to the business plan we had originally envisaged. Our continued hard work and commitment to supply class-leading products and services has resulted in a fantastic first decade providing fleet and asset management solutions to a wide range of organisations, including many blue chip companies.

“Growth has been fuelled by a combination of the capability of our software including ever-evolving functionality, a dynamic approach and the service we provide to customers.”

Mr Evans concluded: “Jaama’s long-term commitment to the industry and our appetite for further expansion remains as strong as ever.”

Major Jaama customers include: Amey, British Transport Police, BCA, Days Contract Hire, DHL Express, DHL International, Fleet Hire, Hertfordshire County Council, Interserve, JCT 600 Contracts, Luton Borough Council, Manheim, MITIE, Ogilvie Fleet, Prohire, Run Your Fleet, Sheffield Insulation Group, and Serco.
